Job Summary:
Mile Hub Transport Ltd. is searching for reliable and experienced Class 1 or A truck drivers to join our growing team! As a truck driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across Canada and the United States. This is an on-the-road position requiring frequent travel.
Responsibilities:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks
Load and unload goods
Tarping and securing cargo
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs
Address customer concerns
Arrange travel and itineraries
Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (bills of lading, inspection reports, etc.)
Communicate effectively with dispatch
Operate GPS and navigation equipment
Qualifications:
Class 1 or A driver’s license
1 to 2 years of experience
Valid passport
Clean driving record
Willingness to travel overnight and cross-border
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads
Excellent interpersonal skills, organization, and reliability
