We’re looking for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team in Calgary, AB.
About the Role:
In this dynamic role, you’ll wear many hats. You’ll be responsible for creating and managing work schedules, overseeing the activities of our kitchen staff, and ensuring all food and service meet our high standards. You’ll also train new staff, estimate ingredient needs, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop work schedules to optimize restaurant operations
Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including food service counter attendants, food preparers, and helpers
Train staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure smooth meal preparation
Ensure food quality and service meet established standards
Prepare budgets and cost estimates
Address customer concerns and resolve complaints professionally
Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and food waste
Prepare and submit reports to management
Supervise and oversee tray assembly
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Previous restaurant experience an asset
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Physically fit and able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and walking
Client-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service
Team player with a positive and flexible attitude
What We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage of $19.00
Full-time permanent position with 35-40 hours per week
