We’re searching for a qualified Class 1 Truck Driver to deliver essential goods across Alberta. This is a fantastic opportunity for a safety-focused and experienced driver who thrives in a dynamic environment. As a green job, this role contributes to Canada’s net-zero goals!
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain various trucks including straight trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds
Load, unload, and secure cargo safely and efficiently
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
Oversee vehicle condition and perform basic maintenance
Handle paperwork including bills of lading, trip reports, and logs
Respect all safety regulations, including those for transporting dangerous goods
Communicate effectively with dispatch and other drivers
Qualifications:
Class 1/1F/A Driver’s License (AZ, Air Brakes)
Minimum 2 years of experience
Clean driving record and criminal background check
TDG (Transportation of Dangerous Goods) and WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certificates preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety
We Offer:
Competitive hourly wage ($28.41) with benefits package (health, dental, vision, pension)
40-45 hours per week, with potential for overtime
Paid travel, including overnight stays
